On October 31st of 1910, Roger Casement secured the liberty of two individuals who were enslaved by the Peruvian Amazon Company during the Putumayo genocide. The testimony of those two individuals, Arédomi and Humurummy, was published in 1911 under the headline "Inferno In A Paradise".
