This is the body of Spanish Prime Minister José Canalejas following his assassination 103 years ago outside a bookshop in Madrid on 12 November 1912. Canalejas was fatally shot by anarchist Manuel Pardiñas after introducing reforms aiming to make Spain a true democracy.
