Belfast, 1975-1982: The Shankill butchers, a gang of UVF paramilitary members, brutally murdered 23 people. Their victims, mostly catholic civilians, were kidnapped in a black taxi before being beaten, tortured, and then killed. Victims were either shot, had their throats split, or both.
