Ötzi the Iceman lived approximately 5300 years ago during the Copper Age. Ötzi was discovered partially buried in ice, along with the remains of his clothing, tools, weapons, and medicine. Upon examination, he was also found to have 61 tattoos, and an arrowhead imbedded in his left shoulder.
